FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is numerology accurate?
Numerology isn't a science and it doesn't predict the future. Think of it as a mirror for self-reflection: your numbers are calculated with the Pythagorean method from your full birth name and date of birth, and the report describes the strengths, tendencies and themes those numbers point to. Read it, keep what resonates, and leave the rest.
How is the Life Path number calculated?
Your Life Path number comes from your date of birth. Reduce the month, the day and the year to single digits separately, add them together, then reduce again. Master Numbers 11 and 22 are kept along the way. Example, August 15, 1994: the month 8 stays 8; the day 15 becomes 1 + 5 = 6; the year 1994 becomes 1 + 9 + 9 + 4 = 23, then 2 + 3 = 5. Then 8 + 6 + 5 = 19, and 1 + 9 = 10, so the Life Path is 10/1.
Which name should I use?
Use your full name exactly as it appears on your birth certificate. It's the basis for your core name numbers (Expression, Soul Urge and Personality).
Should I include my middle name or names?
Yes. Include every middle name as it's written on your birth certificate, even if you never use it. Leaving one out changes your name numbers.
My name changed after marriage, or I go by a nickname. What should I enter?
Enter your birth name for the core numbers, then put the name you use every day (a married name, nickname or shortened name) in the "Name you go by" field. The report adds a chart for that name, so you can see what it brings alongside your birth name.
What are Master Numbers?
11 and 22 are Master Numbers. Instead of being reduced, they're kept and written as 11/2 and 22/4. They share the qualities of 2 and 4 in a stronger form, which can mean greater potential and greater pressure.
How is the full report different from the free calculator?
The free calculator shows your Life Path number and birth chart. The full report has 36 sections (one page for every number), your name chart and combined chart, the four pinnacles, your personal year, month and day, and a summary written for your numbers, all in a PDF of about 80 pages.
How much does the report cost?
The Numerology Map is $29 (list price $49), paid once. There's no subscription and no hidden fees.
Is this a subscription?
No. It's a single one-time payment for your report. You won't be charged again, and you don't need to create an account.
How long is the report?
About 80 PDF pages across 36 sections, with a page of its own for each number.
How do I pay?
By card or PayPal through Gumroad, our payment provider. Payment is confirmed automatically and you're taken straight to your report.
Will I pay sales tax or VAT?
