01Numbers that are kept as they are
When you calculate a Life Path, most totals are reduced to a single digit. Only 10, 11 and 22 are kept, because they carry an extra layer of meaning beyond the digit they reduce to. In your chart they're written with that digit: 10/1, 11/2, 22/4.
- 10/1: the energy of 1, amplified. A starter, self-reliant, able to lead and to begin again after every stumble.
- 11/2: the Master Number of intuition. Sensitive and inspiring, often carrying the lessons of 2 at a higher intensity.
- 22/4: the Master Number of building. A big vision and the ability to turn ideas into something real, with the matching pressure of 4.
02Does a Master Number make you “more special”?
No. A Master Number points to big potential that comes with big challenges. Many people with 11 or 22 live mostly with the energy of the reduced number (2 or 4) until they've grown enough to use their full potential.
Did you know?
Master Numbers don't only show up in the Life Path. Your Expression, Personality, Balance Number and third Pinnacle can also hold a Master Number such as 11. Our sample profile, Emily Rose Johnson, has Life Path 10/1, while her Expression (9), Personality (8) and Balance (6) are single digits.
Ask yourself
If you have an 11 or a 22: when do you feel “too sensitive” or “overloaded”? That's often when a big potential is asking to be put to the right use.
